Margaret is the Director and co-founder of Wellbeing with Margaret (MMCWellbeing.com).
Margaret studied Anatomy, Physiology, Philosophy, Sociology, Psychology at John Moores University and The University of Manchester and qualified as a teacher trainer, assessor, and examiner in exercise and wellbeing and became a course Director for the RSA in 1990. Her degree is a BA with Hons in Education, and other qualifications include a Level 5 Diploma, City Guilds & Cert Ed.
Margaret has been awarded many contracts and began delivering her teachings at Schools, Colleges, Chambers of commerce, Further Education and Private sectors across the UK and was involved with Investors in People (IIP).
Margaret has experienced first-hand sports injuries during her netball, aerobic, yoga and golfing years. In addition, Margaret has experienced burnout, and immune system breakdown, caused by working long hours, poor sleep patterns and diet. Margaret was on a cocktail of medication and choose to make lifestyle changes and this Margaret did via developing further, her meditation and yoga skills. Margaret’s continued her professional development including training with the Pilamaya training school in 2018.

Margaret’s personal journey has led to her current focus on her consultancy work, working with groups and individuals by assessing the person’s overall wellbeing needs and then setting up structured programmes tailored to the individual. The programmes become one-to-one plans, working together to develop ongoing lifestyle changes to maintain a happy and healthy lifestyle. This is currently being done on Zoom due to the current pandemic.
Margaret will revert to her studio environments once COVID is past us. Margaret also provides home and away retreats and workshops, across the UK, Ireland and Portugal. On some occasions other experts are involved. For further details, see Margaret’s programme section.
